ELVIK S.A. was founded in 1982 and is the leading Greek manufacturing company in the field of non-combustible materials (B-15 class), such as panels, doors, ceilings, etc. Our products are used for the outfitting of ship interiors, in accordance with the international Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulation and its subsequent amendments. They can also be used in land-based projects. The design of our products is our own patented innovation, and for their non-combustibility, we hold certifications from well-known and reliable certification bodies (Lloyd’s Register, Danish Fire Institute, Lydteknisk Institut, etc.).

To date, over six hundred vessels have been built or refitted using our products, both in Greece and abroad—from the USA to Eastern Europe and the Far East. We are also active in land-based projects, as our materials are in demand there as well. Additionally, we can undertake interior outfitting, including furnishings and the necessary equipment.

We started strong nearly thirty-nine years ago and remain just as dynamic today. Our work is efficient, comprehensive, and carried out in the shortest possible time. For the quality of both our products and our work, we have regularly been honored with various awards, the most recent being the international “Leader in Status and Quality” award.

ELVIK S.A. holds an ISO 9001:2015 quality system certification (Certificate No. AV268/R1352Q). It also possesses Module B certificates for its products and Module D for its production process (Production Surveillance), allowing it to use the MED – Marine Equipment Directive – mark, the “WheelMark,” issued by Lloyd’s Register.
